The Most Powerful Social Media

Our story

Social media is a powerful way to get your message out there. You can make videos, blogs, post photos, stories, and even funny jokes. The platform you choose is heavily based on what the content type is and what you are familiar with. However, I believe one of the platforms stands above them all. X.

No, I’m just kidding, it’s actually TikTok.

TikTok has an insanely adaptive algorithm that helps you reach your target audience, as long as you understand how to use it to your advantage. I’ll talk more about that in a later post, but let’s focus more about why we should use it.
TikTok is one of the most popular mediums for people to be able to be entertained, educated, teach, and express yourself. As a creator, it can be used for promoting a business, selling products on the TikTok shop, live-streaming, telling stories, making tutorials, and even more! As a consumer, you can watch for recipes, entertainment, makeup inspiration, again, even more.
The reason the app is so successful is because of their algorithm and how it works. TikTok’s algorithm adjusts to the content a consumer interacts with, and adjusts the content very quickly.
You can also see this on YouTube with recommended videos, but people as a whole are more interested in short-form content.

This desire to consume as much short-form content as possible makes it easy for you to slip in a message or two of your own. What I imagine could be thousands of TikTok users doomscroll on TikTok daily, maybe for entertainment, boredom, or inspiration. If someone were to doomscroll for just two hours (an amount on the smaller side) and each video was exactly one minute long, that is 120 videos watched. Considering that a large amount of content found on TikTok is less than that, the odds of your video being seen is even higher.

TikTok also encourages creativity a lot. The developers of TikTok also made CapCut, where users can edit their videos! They have free options and a subscription option, with tons of video templates, and anything you make on CapCut can be uploaded directly to TikTok.

Let’s move on from that; I’m starting to sound like I’m sponsored.

Regardless of why you want to create content, TikTok is a great place to get started. Your chance to get noticed there can help bring awareness to you, your message, and other social media platforms if that is a goal as well.
